Prosecutors are expected to begin laying out their case today as British comedian Russell Brand goes on trial over a series of rape and sexual assault charges.
Brand, 51, is accused of groping women and forcing them into sexual acts in allegations spanning a decade, from 1999 to 2009.
After two days of jury selection at Southwark Crown Court on Monday and yesterday, prosecutor Riel Karmy-Jones KC is due to open the case against Mr Brand today.
The comedian faces three allegations of rape, three counts of sexual assault and one allegation of indecent assault, following claims made by six women.
Mr Brand denies all the charges.
