Aug 24 (Jowhar) – German police have arrested a 15-year-old boy for a knife attack that killed 3 people in Solingen, western Germany.

Two men and a woman were killed in the attack on Friday and several others were injured.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack. They did not immediately provide any evidence, and it was not clear how close he was to the attacker.
The 15-year-old suspect was arrested this morning after two women said they overheard a conversation between him and a second person discussing the attack.Investigators are still trying to determine who actually carried out the attack.

The assailant is said to have stabbed passers-by during a ceremony to mark the 650th anniversary of the founding of the industrial city of Solingen.

The police confirmed that the attacker targeted people’s throats and necks.

The leader of Germany, Olaf Scholz, said that it is necessary to catch the murderer as soon as possible, to punish him and to comply with the law.
