Aden Duale was removed from the position of Minister of Defense and appointed Minister of Environment
July 23 (Jowhar.com) – President William Ruto has made other changes in the members of his Cabinet as the Minister of Defense Aden Barre Duale has been replaced as the Minister of Environment while the Minister of Defense has been replaced by Soipan Tuya.
This change has been conveyed to the Speaker of the National Parliament, Moses Wetang’ula, but it is not known why Aden Barre Duale, one of the most powerful ministers in the Ruto government, has been removed from this position.
President Ruto has named 11 members of his cabinet. Duale, who spoke after the change, thanked the President for the position he appointed him.
He added that he hopes he will succeed in his new role. “I hope to work in my new position,” said Duale.
The 11 members of the Council of Ministers who were appointed are now waiting for the National Parliament to appoint them.
