July 14 (Jowhar.com)- Iran’s president-elect Masoud Pezeshkian has assured Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’s political bureau, that the “Palestinian issue” will be his government’s priority, as reported by the state-run One TV network.

In a phone call with Haniyeh, Bezeshkian criticized Israel’s recent attack on Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip.

The report said that Pezeshkian stressed that the Palestinian issue, which is an important issue in the Islamic world, is of particular importance to his government.

Pezeshkian also had a telephone conversation with Mahdi al-Mashat, the head of Yemen’s Houthi political council.

During the call, Pezeshkian expressed his solidarity with the Houthi movement and emphasized the need for unity among Islamic countries in the face of external threats.

He condemned the ongoing conflict in Yemen and reiterated his government’s support for the Yemeni people’s right to self-determination.

The two leaders discussed potential avenues for collaboration and cooperation in addressing regional challenges and promoting stability in the Middle East.

The phone call ended with both parties reaffirming their commitment to working together towards a peaceful resolution to the conflicts in the region.
