Mahad Salad Vacating NISA Today and Appointing New Commander

Apr 04 (Jowhar.com) – Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Service (NISA) chief Mahad Salad is vacating the position of the country’s top intelligence officer today.

According to the information, Mahad Salad has submitted his resignation letter, while today’s meeting of the cabinet will be announced the new person who manages NISA.

Reports in the market indicate that Abdullahi Sanbaloolshe will be appointed to this position, who has held this position twice before.

Mahad Salad, who has been in office for 1 year and 11 months, is preparing for the presidential election in Galmudug which is scheduled to take place at the end of this year.

Commander Mahad said goodbye to the organization and its officers in the past few days, during this time he went on an unannounced walk to places where people gather and security forces.
