Military forces seize the Fagah crossing in Mogadishu

Mogadishu (Jowhar.com) The military forces that left the battlefield in the Middle Shabelle region last night have entered a few blocks in Mogadishu, as an attempt to withdraw troops from their territories failed.

The Fagah Crossing, which divides the Yaqshid and Karaan districts, was soon reached by armed forces.

The troops took over the intersection between the former police station after the police left without any collisions.

Some reports say the forces want to take over all important intersections and roads north of Mogadishu.

The rebels are said to be opposed to the extension of the president’s term.
