Commander Shub took serious action after the attack inside the Central Prison

July 14 (Jowhar.com) – The commander of the Somali Correctional Service, General Mahad A/rahman Adan (Commander Shub) took immediate action a day after the attack that took place inside the Central Prison.

The general has removed the commandant of the Central Prison, Mohamed Huseen Ahmed, who is held responsible for neglecting the security of the prison.

The commander also appointed a committee to investigate the incident, which was asked to provide an immediate response within a certain period of time.

The information that is being received adds to this that Somali intelligence forces yesterday took a convicted man from the Central Prison who was linked to facilitate the attack.

The attack that took place on Saturday left more than 5 people dead, while questions are being asked as to how the prisoners sentenced to death get the weapons.
