Members of the People’s Assembly debated the Labor Code today

Jul 20 (Jowhar.com) – The members of the BJFS House of Representatives, which was the fifth session, was chaired by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe.

The agenda of the 145-member meeting was the second reading of the Somalia Labor Law Bill prepared by the Social Services Development Committee of the People’s Assembly, and the MPs discussed the bill.

On the other hand, there were members of the council who submitted a motion or a proposal to the chairman of the council on illegal weapons, civil wars and protecting the immunity of the members, which was signed by 18 members, and this proposal was read by the councilor Yusuf Hussein Ahmed Gamadid.

After that, the member of the House who voted for this proposal signed by some of the members of the House agreed that the agenda of today’s meeting should be included in the discussion related to the second reading of the Somalia Labor Law Bill after it has expired.

The Chairman of the People’s Assembly of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe, who closed the meeting, said that the labor law bill that was debated by the parliamentarians today will be sent back to the Social Service Development Committee of the Assembly, to include the discussion and ideas. MPs prepare the third reading and then return it to the House.

Members of the People’s Assembly of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia were also distributed the report of the third reading of the Bill on the Protection of the Rights of the Somali National Disability.
