PM Hamsa opened the conference of Somalis abroad in Qatar

July 22 (Jowhar.com) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, officially opened the Somali Diaspora Conference which opened today in the city of Dosha in the country of our brothers Qatar.

Mr. Hamsa, who delivered an important speech at the opening of the conference, the theme of which is “Directing the power of the Somali diaspora to achieve a prosperous and prosperous Somalia”, said the importance of this conference for the Somali people, especially the need at the moment for the Somali diaspora to continue show the active role they take in the reconstruction of the country.

He also talked about the need to build trust and integrate with the host communities, without leaving out the preservation of Somali culture and traditions.

The Prime Minister emphasized the role of the Somali Diaspora in reconstruction, education, economic growth and the life of our country and society in general, playing a major role in the development of the country, and he called on the hundreds of Somalis who attended the conference to realize the hopes and goals of the Somali people for peace, development and prosperity.

The Conference of Somali Diaspora organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, was attended by hundreds of Somalis from all over the world, which will be held in the city of Doxa from 22 – 24 July 2024.
