President Ahmed Mohamed Islaam said that the bravery and heroism shown by the Birjeh brigade has made everyone happy who has been struggling with the problems that the Khawarij have inflicted on the Somali people.
The President urged the military that more efforts and sacrifices are needed to ensure the common goal of ridding the country of Khawarij.
The President prayed to God to shower mercy on the veterans who lost their lives in the war while wishing good health to those injured who sacrificed their lives for the defense of their country and people.
The president awarded a bravery medal to Major General Abdi Kafi Dayib Ahmed, Commander of the Birjeh Brigade of the Jubaland Darwish Army, Major General Bashir Guhad Hassan, Commander of the Birjeh Brigade and Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Abdi Shafeec.
The President has also promoted all the Birjeh Brigade of the Jubaland Dervish Army who have poured blood on the Kharijites who have wasted the blood of the Somali nation.
