President of Jubbaland Islam was welcomed in Afmadow district

Jul 26 (Jowhar.com) – Jubbaland President Ahmed Mohamed Islam and his delegation arrived today in Afmadow district of Lower Jubba region.

The delegation was welcomed in the center of the district by the district administration and hundreds of people who live there.

The trip of the President and the delegation he leads is related to the acceleration of the operations of the Armed Forces of the country and Jubbaland, who have recently achieved effective results in the war against insurgents in the past few days.

The Jubaland forces and the national security forces recently opened the road connecting Kismayo and Afmadow.

This strategic road has been a key target for the insurgents, who have been trying to cut off vital supply lines to the region. The successful reopening of the road has not only boosted morale among the troops but has also allowed for the transportation of much-needed supplies to the communities in the area.

During the President’s visit, he praised the efforts of the armed forces and reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting them in their fight against terrorism. He also emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among the different security forces in order to effectively combat the insurgents.

The delegation also met with local leaders and community members to discuss ways to further enhance security and development in the region. The President promised to continue working closely with the district administration and the people of Jubbaland to bring peace and stability to the area.

As the delegation prepared to leave, they were met with cheers and applause from the crowd, who expressed their gratitude for the government’s efforts in ensuring their safety and security. The President’s visit served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the armed forces and the importance of their work in protecting the country from external threats.
