The meeting of the National Consultative Council was transferred to Kismayo after the pressure of Ahmed Madobe

Aug 06 (Jowhar.com) – The meeting of the National Consultative Council (NCC) is expected to take place in Kismayo, following a request from the President of Jubbaland.

The meeting that was supposed to take place in Mogadishu at the end of last month was canceled due to several factors, such as Ahmed Madobe who excused himself from attending the meeting due to the strengthening of operations in the Jubbaland areas, after the recent successes of the CXD and those Jubaland from the war on terrorism

According to the reports, this meeting is very much related to the future of the regional governments who have expired and want the President JFS to allow them to go to the elections and the fate of Villa Somalia in the 2026 elections.

This month of August will be a month that will decide the process of the same elections at the State and Federal level, as the project of President Hassan Sheikh’s People and Votes are facing big challenges, such as the opposition who strongly oppose the President’s plan.
