Aug 06 (Jowhar.com) – In a planned operation carried out by the security forces in Galgaduud region, Horjooge Idris Mohamed Sheikh, who was now the leader of the extortion fund collectors called Saka in Galgaduud region, was arrested.
Leader Idris also served as the leader of the Khawarij in the Middle Shabelle region, before the Khawarij were liberated from the entire region.
This bloodthirsty leader also operated in the Bay and Bakool regions, and was one of the closest individuals to the Khawarij leader Ahmed Diriye.
The security agencies of the government are determined to bring to justice the Khawarij criminals who are engaged in harming the Somali people.
Leader Idris was known for his brutal tactics and ruthless behavior, causing fear and suffering among the local population. His arrest was seen as a major victory for the security forces in their ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and extremism in the region.
With the capture of Leader Idris, the security forces hoped to gather valuable intelligence that would lead to the dismantling of the entire extortion network operated by the Khawarij in the region.
