The Somali government has welcomed the approval of the agreement between Somalia and Turkey.

The Minister of Defense, Mr. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, who spoke about this decision, said that this cooperation reflects the commitment of the two countries to develop cooperation in the fields of economy and defense.

This decision follows the defense and economic cooperation agreement that the two countries signed on February 8 this year.

The agreement includes provisions for joint military exercises, intelligence sharing, and training programs for Somali security forces. It also covers areas such as infrastructure development, investment, and trade.
