Beginning in mid-October, Ukrainian authorities alerted the global community about the deployment of North Korean troops to Russia.

According to Russia's Defence Ministry, Russian troops have taken control of the villages of Serebrianka and Mykolaivka in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, with military blogs indicating Russian progress near crucial frontline towns.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia may deploy North Korean troops into combat as early as Sunday and has called for increased international pressure on both the Kremlin and Pyongyang.
