The Paris Champs-Elysées lights their Christmas lights

Paris’ iconic Champs-Elysées avenue lit its Christmas lights on Sunday and welcomed the festive season in the French capital.

Thousands of glittering light bulbs now adorn more than 400 trees along the Champs Elysées.

But with 2020 as a year like no other, this year’s ceremony was also unique due to the coronavirus. Parisians and people around the world were invited to attend the ceremony online.
