Wimbledon: France’s Alize Cornet topped world primary Iga Swiatek

Veteran French participant Alize Cornet was knocked out of Wimbledon with consecutive rounds of Ega Swatic, ending the world primary’s 37-game successful streak.

Cornet, seeded 37, capitalized on an error-filled efficiency from her Polish opponent to win 6-4 6-2 on Courtroom 1 in her third-round match.
