Jewelry Valued at Over €12 Million Stolen from London Residence
Jewellery valued at over €12 million and designer handbags worth nearly €180,000 have been taken from a residence in Primrose Hill, London.
A white male, aged in his late 20s to early 30s, infiltrated a house on Avenue Road between 5pm and 5:30pm on 7 December by accessing it through a second-floor window, according to the Metropolitan Police.
The thief made away with Hermes Crocodile Kelly handbags, more than €18,000 in cash, and jewellery items valued at €12 million, including some unique pieces.
The suspect was described as wearing a dark hoodie, cargo pants, and a grey baseball cap while concealing his face.
Some of the jewellery is said to belong to social media influencer Shafira Huang.
The victims are offering a €600,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect, as well as an additional reward of 10% of the value of the recovered items for tips that lead to the return of the stolen jewellery.
Detective Constable Paulo Roberts stated: “This is a bold crime where the suspect has invaded the property, potentially armed with an unknown weapon, violating the safety of the victims’ home.
“The suspect has stolen jewellery worth £10.4 million, much of which holds sentimental value and is unique in its design, making it easily recognizable.
“We encourage anyone who was in the vicinity of Avenue Road, NW8, and noticed anything out of the ordinary to come forward.
“Furthermore, if you have encountered this jewellery, if someone has attempted to sell it to you, or if you have any additional information, please reach out to the police or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.”
