Vance: Trump’s Return to Power Would Be “Incredibly Entertaining”

US Vice President JD Vance proclaimed that Donald Trump’s first month back in the White House has been “a hell of a lot of fun,” as he addressed an enthusiastic gathering of American conservatives celebrating the billionaire’s return to power.

“The president keeps us moving at a pretty frenetic pace,” Mr. Vance remarked during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) held on the outskirts of Washington, D.C.

He added that Mr. Trump “is acutely aware that the American people gave us a chance to rescue the country, and that’s precisely what we plan to do. And thank goodness for that, because the past month has been incredibly enjoyable,” Mr. Vance expressed.

Since his inauguration, the Republican president has unleashed a flurry of executive orders in just a few weeks.

His loyal supporters have celebrated these actions, and attendees at CPAC reveled in his dramatic return.

The annual conservative conference has increasingly centered on honoring Mr. Trump personally.

This year, in addition to Mr. Vance, numerous officials from his administration and allies from Congress are anticipated to participate, including White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and House Speaker Mike Johnson.

Mr. Trump is scheduled to speak at the conference this weekend.

He delivered a solemn speech at the event in 2024 while running for president, portraying the United States as a “nightmare” under Joe Biden.

A number of right-wing and far-right leaders from various countries are also slated to address the convention, such as Argentina’s President Javier Milei, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss spoke on the convention’s main stage.

European conservative party leaders including France’s Jordan Bardella, Britain’s Nigel Farage, and former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki are also expected to attend.

Many are looking for inspiration back home following Mr. Trump’s triumphant comeback.

During her speech, former British Prime Minister Liz Truss stated, “patriotic Brits… look across the Atlantic with envy.”

“We desire a Trump revolution in Britain,” she declared, praising his ally Elon Musk. “We want Elon and his nerd-army of Musk-rats scrutinizing the British deep state.

“We aspire to be part of the second American revolution.”
